AIR SAMPLING PUMP
A precision-engineered, piston-style manual pump used with colorimetric detector tubes to measure the concentration of toxic and hazardous gases.
- 1 x ASP-40 Sampling Pump
- 1 x Rubber Tube Connector (Spare)
- 1 x Maintenance Grease (Silicon)
- 1 x Carrying Case
- 1 x Instruction Manual
- Pump Type: Piston-and-barrel vacuum pump
- Sample Volume: 50 ml (half stroke) or 100 ml (full stroke)
- Weight: ~250 grams
- Body Material: High-impact plastic/metal with a corrosion-resistant finish
- Dimensions: ~220 mm (length) x 45 mm (diameter)
- End-of-Stroke Indicator: A visual "finish" indicator tells you exactly when the air sample is fully drawn, preventing premature readings.
- Built-in Tip Breaker: Safely snaps the ends of glass detector tubes and stores the shards in a small internal reservoir.
- Maintenance-Friendly: The piston design requires minimal greasing and is easy to disassemble for cleaning in the field.
- Low Cost of Ownership: Requires no batteries or calibration gas; only the inexpensive detector tubes are consumable.
- Ergonomic Design: Slim profile and lightweight build make it easy to use while wearing heavy work gloves.
The ASP-40 is a lightweight, rugged sampling device designed for one-handed operation. It works on the vacuum principle, drawing a fixed volume of air (50cc or 100cc) through a detector tube. The pump features a built-in tip breaker and an end-of-stroke indicator to ensure accurate sampling every time.
